Kudu Kaya is located in Cambria, at the entry to the Baviaanskloof Wilderness Area, 45 km from Patensie on the road to Willowmore.
Kudu Kaya is situated on a 107 ha working citrus farm.
The adjacent Baviaanskloof Nature Conservation Area is a lovely place to view wild animals and the magnificent scenery. Kudu Kaya is also known for the bird watching.
There are six fully equipped self-catering chalets on the farm namely Kudu Kaya, Swartland, Houthuis, Bobbejaan, Aalwyn and Geelhout.
There is also a Tented Camp and numerous scenic campsites situated next to a mountain stream under Yellowwood and other indigenous trees.
Kudu Kaya Self Catering Chalets
Kudu Kaya - Sleeps 11
Kudu Kaya is situated approximately 50 metres from the farmstead where you can observe farm activities and admire a beautiful view of the mountains from its large stoep. This three-bedroomed, self-catering chalet can accommodate up to ten people with ample living room to spare.
Swartland - Sleeps 8
Swartland is situated next to a mountain stream (depending on rain received) and orange trees. This three-bedroomed, self-catering chalet can comfortably accommodate up to eight people.
Houthuis - Sleeps 4
Relax in the rustic atmosphere underneath the large yellow wood trees, with the sound of water running (depending on rain received) in the background. This two-bedroomed, self-catering wooden chalet can accommodate up to four people.
Bobbejaan - Sleeps 8
This chalet is situated on its own, beside a grove of “White Stinkwood” trees and has a beautiful view from the spacious stoep overlooking the kloof with its scenic mountains. This three-bedroomed self-catering wooden chalet can accommodate up to eight people.
Aalwyn - Sleeps 5
This chalet stands by itself with an abundance of privacy. It is surrounded by dense bush and is situated on a gentle hillside. This two-bedroomed, self-catering wooden chalet can accommodate up to five people.
Geelhout - Sleeps 3
The Geelhout chalet is located under Yellow Wood trees next to a mountain stream. The water level depends on rain received. This open plan, self-catering wooden chalet can accommodate up to three people.

Kudu Kaya Tented Camp
The Tented Camp is located on the other side of the stream at the Campsite.
The four tents are located in indigenous bush under huge yellow wood trees next to a stream it is the ideal spot to relax away from the normal hustle and bustle.
The tents are equipped with beds, bedding and cutlery for 4 persons. Each tent has its own Shower and Toilet.
The tented camps has its own kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen has all crockery as in the chalets, has medium fridge with freezer and 2 plate gas stove with gas kettle.
Kudu Kaya Campsites
There are 15 campsites located in the valley of the Ysrivier, a mountain stream. The shady campsites share 4 ablution facilities with hot water showers and flush toilets. Campsite number 16 is a large stand suitable for groups with its own ablution block.
Guests can enjoy plenty of opportunity to go swimming in natural rock pools, rock climbing and kloofing. The dense indigenous plant life offers ample opportunity for bird watching.
