Welcome to Kalahari Water Guest  Farm in the Green Kalahari, where food and wine are a great part of our passion. So, we can say, welcome to the Kokerboom food and wine route.  Kalahari Water Guest Farm is a working farm, which provide grapes to the local cellar , Orange River Cellars, on the edge of  nature, where you as guest, will feel closer to nature than ever. The Orange River is 2 km from the main self  catering chalets.

Wedding and conference, camping, Kalahari Water Guest Farm is a  centralized 3( three) star graded accommodation farm  from the most important visiting spots, such as, Augrabies Falls National Park, Kalagadi, Namaqualand and the West Coast. The AA gave us a recommended status as part of our seriousness about exceptional client service. We give luxury resting place for not just the head, soul and body, but the old, young and weary, surrounded by Mother Nature herself. Come and enjoy the farm feeling, adventure with us!    

Kalahari Water Accommodation

We offer a variety of self-catering accommodation options: from Camping on the banks of the Orange River, to fully equipped Self Catering Units nestled between lush vineyards. 

The Old Farmhouse - Consists of 5 fully equipped Self-Catering Units nestled between the farm's vineyards. Each unit is unique in its style and has its own private carport and braai area. There is also air conditioning in each bedroom. Family Self-Catering Units Units are only equipped with a showers. The kitchenettes are all equipped with a fridge, microwave oven, toaster, hotplate, kettle and the necessary utensils to prepare a hearty meal.

The swimming pool is situated just behind these units and is suitable for both old and young. It was actually the old dam and was creatively converted to a pool!

Backpackers - We offer 6 fully equipped self catering backpacker units next to the dam between vineyards.  Each unit is unique in its style and has its own private carport and braai area. These units are canvas, reed and wood constructions, thus not 100% soundproof.

A communal ablution block is available for each gender. The kitchen is also shared by the 4 huts. It is fitted with a gas camper stove. Cooling facilities are powered by gas and paraffin. Lighting in the ablution and kitchen is solar powered. Warm water is provided by gas powered geysers. Bedding and cutlery are not provided as standard. These can be hired from us.

Caravan and Camping Sites - We have two fully functional parks for our travellers with Campers, Caravans, Tents and Ox wagons.

We can even accommodate Groups in need of conference facilities for all kinds of events. 

Events & Conferencing at Kalahari Water

We offer venues suitable for youth camps, conferences, birthday parties and weddings. We can accommodate groups of up to 80 for sleepover and 150 people for day visit. There are two venues available to suit your needs. Groot Lapa and Piet se Dek.
