“A true taste of village life; friendly people, wholesome food, good vibes” Stanford is the place to be every last Friday of the month (except July and August) for the Sunset Market on the old village square, which has been awarded heritage status.
This market really takes you back to the days when, I imagine, the farmers and traders used to have their goods on display for all to see and buy – it is STILL like that!! Exceptional home-grown veggies, home-made food, live music and real southern hospitality, where locals and visitors mingle after the sun has long set.
