Machadodorp was officially renamed eNtokozweni in 2010 but is often still referred to as Machadodorp despite the name change. This town is situated in the Highlands Meander region of Mpumalanga in South Africa.
Roughly 2km from the town lies a naturally radioactive hot spring. The spring has a high sulphur content which is said to soothe rheumatism and gout and is reputed to have other healing effects.
The BeKoni Ruins are situated on the hills surrounding this town. They consist of thousands of stone walls, which archaeologists date to around the early 18th century.
